CfPS Law School Debating Team for winning the Novice Championship at the Hulftsdorp Debates 2016

Congratulations CfPS Law School Debating Team for winning the Novice Championship at the Hulftsdorp Debates 2016 organized by Sri Lanka Law College!!!

The team comprising Archana Heenpella and Lithmal Jayawardhana of the CfPS Law School became the Novice Champions of the recently concluded Hulftsdorp Debates 2016, an All-Island Higher Education Institutions' Debate Competition organized by the English Literary Association of the Sri Lanka Law College which was held on the 27th and 28th of August, 2016.

At the conclusion of the 4 preliminary rounds, the team was ranked 6th in the entire tournament out of over 26 teams from various institutions from all over the island including the University of Jaffna, Moratuwa, Peradeniya, Sri Lanka Law College etc., and qualified for the Novice Finals from which they emerged victorious by defeating teams from the University of Moratuwa, Royal Institute, Colombo, and IIHE!

The contingent representing CfPS also comprised of Tehani Tissera, Anika Arawwawala, Yasu-e Karunarathne, Bojaya Kasun and Arnita Amarasekara.
